When the Red Carpet is rolled out, we love to watch fashion’s biggest moments enfold right before our eyes, but this time, it was the Blue Carpet that witnessed all the hot and happening fashion action at the Billboard Music Awards 2013.
The biggest music stars in Hollywood all descended on the Blue Carpet in full force on the 19th of May 2013 for the Billboard Music Awards. But before these stars took to their seats, they gave us a glimpse of their expertise in fashion, which we loved playing on-lookers to.
It rained black on the Blue Carpet with drops of sheer, lace, shimmer and some more black, sheer, lace and shimmer. Would you like to take a look at some of the fashionable poses our favorite stars gave us? Then come, join us and let’s together witness the Blue Carpet action at the Billboard Music Awards 2013.
So…..who wore what?
1. Shania Twain
We had to begin with Queen Bee. Shania Twain made us go, “WOW!” Did she make you feel the same? Shania would make for a really pretty bride in this strapless wonder from Pavoni by Mikael D. Her shimmering jewelry along with her clutch and shoes make us want to give her a 200 on 100 for her choice of ensemble.
2. Taylor Swift
It was shimmering blue with a bit of sheer for Taylor Swift in this ravishingly sexy mini dress with long sleeves by Zuhair Murad. Her makeup, jewelry and shoes matched the edgy vibe her dress gave off perfectly.
3. Jennifer Lopez
And Zuhair Murad made another sparkling appearance on the Blue Carpet. This golden gown replete with a good dose of sheer, gold shimmer and beaded feathers made Jennifer look like a Goddess. She went all gold with a golden clutch and golden sandals for the evening.
4. Emmy Rossum
And sheer it was, this time coupled with beautiful black velvet for yet another Zuhair Murad piece flaunted very beautifully by Emmy Rossum. What we loved about this evening gown is the keyhole neckline, the sheer polka dot panels and the way Emmy pulls this beauty off.
5. Hayden Penettiere
Hayden Penettiere opted for elegance and chic with this black floor length halter gown by Halston Heritage. Hayden’s choice of jewelry and accessories added to the elegance of her dress.
6. Jennifer Morrison
You might feel like taking a moment to judge Jennifer Morrison’s choice on the Blue Carpet, but if you really look deep into this dress, you will fall in love with its charm. This masterpiece combining sheer, lace and black by Wore Kristian Aadvenik and its gorgeous detailing will truly blow away your mind.
7. Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez looks ravishing on the Blue Carpet. It’s hard to imagine that this beauty, who was once just another teen growing up right before our eyes, now has the styling sensibilities of a fashionista who has lived to see it all. Selena’s white Atelier Versace gown is the epitome of elegance. The neon detailing only makes her choice look all the more gorgeous.
8. Miley Cyrus
When Maxim anoints you among its Hot 100, you have to live up to it and Miley Cyrus did just that at the Billboard Music Awards 2013. Miley’s black and white checkered jumpsuit by Balmain with the lace detailing looked burning hot. Her red lipstick, red nail polish and those black sandals only pumped up Miley’s heat quotient for the evening.
9. Kelly Rowland
Kelly Rowland’s Red Carpet choices are always applaud-worthy and we loved her Blue Carpet choice too this time. Kelly draped herself in silver shimmer and glitter and loads of glamour in a Rami Al Ali high slit dress. With shimmering silver jewelry and shoes, Kelly outdid herself this time.
10. Kimberly Perry
Guess who played peek-a-boo this time on the Blue Carpet? Yes, it was Kimberly Perry from The Band Perry who glimmered in an embroidered Mark Zunino gown. Quite a daring choice on the Red…ooops, Blue Carpet; however we loved every bit of the sheer glittering lace detailing and the elegance of her lovely gown.
So which of these Blue Carpet beauties outshone every other woman at the Billboard Music Awards 2013? We believe that everybody showcased an equal amount of charm, elegance and beauty in their ensembles. What do you have to say about it?
