Paris is synonymous with style, fashion and trends. It is home to some of the best brands in the world of fashion including Chanel, Louis Vuitton and more.
Paris is the 4th and last leg of the fashion week this season with nonstop shows striking an awesome chord with fashionistas, media and viewers all over in New York, London and Milan.
So what can you look forward to from the last leg of the last days of the fashion week in Paris in this time of year?
We are going to get you all the latest news, views and more on that. Of course, we will give you loads of insights into what the world has to say about our homegrown super talented designer, Phoebe Philo.
But before that let’s tell you about what you can expect to see today at the PFW. Today, fashion designer Hedi Slimane will showcase his opening collection for the Saint Laurent. Grapevine has it that the designer has roped in artiste, Christopher Owens to reveal his latest promotion for the brand. Maybe you can expect a rock ‘n’ roll- motivated collection for the Saint Laurent SS13, as a result of Owen’s eerie Kurt Cobain resemblance. FashionofFashion suggests, “Stay tuned, watch out for more on that soon!”
On that note, let’s get back to telling you about all the praises that Phoebe Philo has garnered at the Paris Fashion Week Spring 2013.
British designer Phoebe Philo rocks
In yesterday’s Céline at Paris Fashion Week Spring 2013, we witnessed novel patterns, some of the most stylish handbags, heels and so much more.
Yesterday’s Céline presentation was a sophisticated mix of creativity, heady modernization and lusciousness. Designer Phoebe Philo opined that her collection was all about gorgeousness, companionship, and journey. She said her collection was about helping one other.
Just to give all our readers a little background information, Phoebe had called off last February’s Céline presentation due to her pregnancy. And seeing her collection yesterday, we could clearly draw parallels with her post pregnancy stage and motherhood.
Here’s an insight into how the presentation began for our very own British designer, Phoebe Philo. The opening was marked by reverberating echo of the beating of a heart. This evidently seemed to be inspired from her real life persona of motherhood (beating of her baby’s heart).
Kudos to her London team, she was all praises about every member of her team for their help and support in putting together the entire collection. Philo’s designs have been greatly received in the fashion circuits in the past several years and have been immensely praised for their amazing color combinations, patterns and designs.
Her colour palette comprised a mix of creams, cobalt blue and navy blue, off whites, grays and blacks.
Her collection marked statement shoes, high heels, soft pink slip gear, comfortable and loose-fitting pants long, and so much more. Her stylish deep V-neck gowns and trench coats mesmerized us.
Phoebe Philo’s shoes; lounge wear, pumps, leather sandals, smooth clutches, satin trousers, elevated heels in vibrant colors were one of the top most highlights of her collection. Philo’s collection has found its way to one of the leading fashion stores, Zara.
Every fashion editor as well as Kayne West opined that our British designer, Philo is one the best and their favorite designers. Need we say more in praise of our British lady?
We know you must be groaning just like us that the fashion week is almost over! The fashion week must technically be over but it has left imprints in the form of fashion trends for the coming months and the next year.
With the latest trends for Spring/Summer 2013 being set after the remarkable past few weeks of trend setting, we are all set to adopt the high fashion from the runway presentations by the top notch designers from all over the world.
Are you ready to make this latest fashion as part of your with high street fashion.
