Autumn is in full swing and so are our closets. It’s time to switch from t-shirts and mini dresses to cozy sweaters and faux furs, but who’s complaining? The new season means that we get to switch back to the fall/winter wardrobe and, let’s face it: we kind of missed it a bit.
And what better way to mark the setting in of the colder months than by searching for the PERFECT pair of boots? From ankle to biker and to over the knee boots, there are definitely a lot of beautiful pairs to choose from. Let’s see!
Fall Boots 2014 Trend #1: Over The Knee Boots
No doubt about it! Over the knee, super-tall boots are IN this season. The 60s have been making a comeback and this fall – they are back to run to world. Or, you know, our closets.

How to wear them: Over the knee boots go perfectly with A-line dresses and mini (or micro!) skirts. Take advantage of the warm autumn days and dare to step outside without tights. It’s now or never! If you think that you are more than prone to catch a cold, add a pair tights, but make sure they’re black and opaque: you will look retro-chic.
Fall Boots 2014 Trend #2: Ankle Boots
Whether summer or fall, ankle boots are the type of shoes that are always stylish. Low-heeled or not, they are key elements of every girl’s shoe closet.

How to wear them: pair the ankle boots with a pencil skirt and a blouse, for the ultimate comfortable office look, or with skinny jeans and a blazer. This is a cool look that you can rock all day long and easily transition into the evening. Don’t hesitate to go for crazier patterns and colors when if comes to ankle boots: the bolder, the better!
Fall Boots 2014 Trend #3: Biker Boots
Biker boots are the type of shoes that are unfussy and easy to pair with… basically anything. Their rough appearance and hardware can toughen up any look. The one thing to do with a pair of biker boots is to experiment, experiment, experiment! Try pairing them with the most feminine of dresses, even though you might think they look too harsh – they might surprise you!

How to wear them: For a grungy vibe, pair the biker boots with skinny jeans (bonus points if they are ripped) and a basic tee. Add a leather jacket or bundle up in a parka for maxium warmth and comfort. You can also try adding a feminine dress to your biker boots. Throw a denim jacket on top and you might just have the coolest look of the autumn!
