Jennifer Aniston split from Brad Pitt years ago; however Pitt seemed to have instilled some of his architectural passions and tastes into his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
Did all of this just make no sense to you? Well, then maybe that could be because you don’t know what we are talking about. Let’s check out Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s swanky love nest and you’ll know what’s cooking.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are not only busy preparing for their grand dream wedding, but the other project that’s been keeping the star couple constantly on their feet is the renovation of the home that they share together in Beverly Hills.
The enormous Bel Air home once belonged to the record producer of legendary fame, Quincy Jones and this home was listed as Quincy’s finest work of art. It was purchased by the couple in January 2012.
The renovation project of this exceptionally gorgeous home has been going on for quite a while now and one might wonder why these renovations have been underway for so long. The two reasons for the delay in the renovation are because this property is massively huge and also because the couple has been facing a tough struggle to obtain the necessary permits they need for the major construction plans and changes that they have in mind to turn the place around 3600.
This swanky property sprawls across 8500 square feet. With the new renovation plans, the property is expected to cover 12,695 square feet. The home, in its current form, comprises seven bathrooms and four bedrooms. It also features a number of amenities that people would crave for in their home like a swimming pool, a massive motor court, a vineyard, a guest house, a number of patios to host parties and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the city.
The contractors have taken permissions from the City of Los Angeles for the following:
– The expansion of the master bedroom,
– The addition of a cantilever roof eave,
– The inclusion of a deck with a trellis,
– The removal of another trellis and
– The installation of a library, dining room and roof covers outside the living room.
To take her sense of elaborateness to the next level, future Mrs. Theroux adds her charm to the home by installing a recessed black lava veneer which will go around concrete stairs yet to be constructed. From here water will flow into an 18 inch deep pond.
If you are wondering why two people need so much room, it could possibly be because of a new little addition to the family as rumor mills say. However, the couple made fantastic use of their home to throw an engagement party to their family and friends earlier this week. This couple sure knows how to let their hair down amidst such busy schedules.
We wonder whether Brad Pitt, who has recently launched his own line of architectural and furniture designs will send across a few to Jennifer as a gracious house warming (or wedding) present. Let’s have our ears open wide for that news!
