The Red Carpet at the Radio Disney Awards 2013 was all about the big stars and the brightest colors. While most of the eye catching appearances on the Red Carpet were young, fresh and peppy; the elegant veterans too turned up on the Red Carpet putting their best food forward.
The Radio Disney Awards 2013 took place in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre on the 27th of April. It was a splendid night honoring young talent and the most popular young musicians in Hollywood.
The fashion highlight on the Red Carpet at the Radio Disney awards was nothing less than mesmerizing. Fresh and lively seemed to be the theme of the evening. However, as it always is with every Hollywood Red Carpet event, some of our stars fail to make a gorgeous impression and end up on the other side of fashion.
Check out some of Hollywood’s most popular faces on the Red Carpet and find out who rocked and who didn’t at the Radio Disney Awards 2013.
1. Selena Gomez
If we could, we would bestow Selena Gomez with a “Red Carpet Stunner of the Evening” Award. Selena looked breathtakingly beautiful and exhibited a dash of edginess in a black leather top by Vince and an asymmetrical skirt from the Bluemarine Fall 2013 collection.
2. Denise Richards
Denise Richards went the neon way with a short summery dress and added a lovely effect to her look with studded evening sandals and a Lana champagne crystal box clutch by Daniel Swarovski.
3. Cher Lloyd
Cher Lloyd was another stunner on the Red Carpet. This British singer proved to be one of the most glamorous beauties of the evening in a bow bedecked dress by Angela Balek. She complemented her look with nude pumps by Christine Louboutin and jewelry by Tivon.
4. Bella Thorne
This 15 year old can surely give the veteran fashionistas a run for their money. With a terrific fashion sense, Bella set the Red Carpet at the Radio Disney Awards on fire. Bella wore a navy blue crop top and skirt by Keepsake. The electric yellow shoes by Christian Dior was quite a rare, yet stunning choice and the quirky jewelry by Kate Spade topped it up several notches.
5. Ariana Grande
Ariana wanted to go “angelic” on the Red Carpet and so she did! With a short pink cut-out dress and a sheer long skirt attached to it, Ariana was surely among the best dressed of the evening. To complete her angelic look, Ariana donned a pretty floral headband.
6. Zendaya Coleman
Zendaya Coleman, of Dancing With The Stars fame brought summer in her ensemble with spring in her step. Her green printed short suit by Juicy Couture and strappy white Gucci sandals made her look like a runway showstopper.
7. Debby Ryan
Hot pink always looks hot on the Red Carpet and this applies to Debby Ryan as well. Debby flaunted a hot pink fit and flare dress by DKNY and she accessorized her look with a shimmering pair of evening sandals by Jean-Michael Cazabat.
8. Maia Mitchelle
Maia Mitchelle, another angelic beauty on the Red Carpet wore a Zayan dress with an asymmetrical sheer hemline and accented her look with Greymer pumps.
9. Sierra McCormick
Sierra McCormick looked simply pretty in a lacy number by Yoana Baraschi. Her golden clutch was a perfect match with the coral colored dress.
10. Olivia Holt
Stripes are in this season and Olivia decided to experiment with this fabulous trend on the Red Carpet. We give Olivia full marks for taking on stripes on the Red Carpet and the classiness with which she pulled this Katie Ermilio dress. Her coral Caesar Paciotti pumps and Kotur clutch were the perfect matches with her pretty dress.
11. Alli Simpson
Alli Simpson turned up on the Red Carpet in an edgy and never-seen-before avatar. Her map-resembling pants were a pretty creative choice for the Red Carpet.
12. Hayley Kiyoko
Disney actress Hayley Kiyoko seemed inappropriately dressed for the Red Carpet in a buttoned down shirt, denim capris and pumps. The lavender pumps we’d keep, but the rest of it, had to go.
13. Jadagrace Berry
The Red Carpet doesn’t seem like the perfect place on which to flaunt Goth obsessions. Would someone tell that to Jadagrace Berry?
2 out of 13 stars gone wrong is not bad at all. That calls for a shout out of appreciation to all our young Disney stars and the future stunners on the Oscars’ Red Carpet
