When the Red Carpet is rolled out, we love to watch fashion’s biggest moments enfold right before our eyes, but this time, it was the Blue Carpet that witnessed all the hot and happening fashion action at the Billboard Music Awards 2013.
The biggest music stars in Hollywood all descended on the Blue Carpet in full force on the 19th of May 2013 for the Billboard Music Awards. But before these stars took to their seats, they gave us a glimpse of their expertise in fashion, which we loved playing on-lookers to.
It rained black on the Blue Carpet with drops of sheer, lace, shimmer and some more black, sheer, lace and shimmer. Would you like to take a look at some of the fashionable poses our favorite stars gave us? Then come, join us and let’s together witness the Blue Carpet action at the Billboard Music Awards 2013.
So…..who wore what?
1. Shania Twain
We had to begin with Queen Bee. Shania Twain made us go, “WOW!” Did she make you feel the same? Shania would make for a really pretty bride in this strapless wonder from Pavoni by Mikael D. Her shimmering jewelry along with her clutch and shoes make us want to give her a 200 on 100 for her choice of ensemble.
2. Taylor Swift
It was shimmering blue with a bit of sheer for Taylor Swift in this ravishingly sexy mini dress with long sleeves by Zuhair Murad. Her makeup, jewelry and shoes matched the edgy vibe her dress gave off perfectly.
3. Jennifer Lopez
And Zuhair Murad made another sparkling appearance on the Blue Carpet. This golden gown replete with a good dose of sheer, gold shimmer and beaded feathers made Jennifer look like a Goddess. She went all gold with a golden clutch and golden sandals for the evening.
4. Emmy Rossum
And sheer it was, this time coupled with beautiful black velvet for yet another Zuhair Murad piece flaunted very beautifully by Emmy Rossum. What we loved about this evening gown is the keyhole neckline, the sheer polka dot panels and the way Emmy pulls this beauty off.
5. Hayden Penettiere
Hayden Penettiere opted for elegance and chic with this black floor length halter gown by Halston Heritage. Hayden’s choice of jewelry and accessories added to the elegance of her dress.
6. Jennifer Morrison
You might feel like taking a moment to judge Jennifer Morrison’s choice on the Blue Carpet, but if you really look deep into this dress, you will fall in love with its charm. This masterpiece combining sheer, lace and black by Wore Kristian Aadvenik and its gorgeous detailing will truly blow away your mind.
7. Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez looks ravishing on the Blue Carpet. It’s hard to imagine that this beauty, who was once just another teen growing up right before our eyes, now has the styling sensibilities of a fashionista who has lived to see it all. Selena’s white Atelier Versace gown is the epitome of elegance. The neon detailing only makes her choice look all the more gorgeous.
8. Miley Cyrus
When Maxim anoints you among its Hot 100, you have to live up to it and Miley Cyrus did just that at the Billboard Music Awards 2013. Miley’s black and white checkered jumpsuit by Balmain with the lace detailing looked burning hot. Her red lipstick, red nail polish and those black sandals only pumped up Miley’s heat quotient for the evening.
9. Kelly Rowland
Kelly Rowland’s Red Carpet choices are always applaud-worthy and we loved her Blue Carpet choice too this time. Kelly draped herself in silver shimmer and glitter and loads of glamour in a Rami Al Ali high slit dress. With shimmering silver jewelry and shoes, Kelly outdid herself this time.
10. Kimberly Perry
Guess who played peek-a-boo this time on the Blue Carpet? Yes, it was Kimberly Perry from The Band Perry who glimmered in an embroidered Mark Zunino gown. Quite a daring choice on the Red…ooops, Blue Carpet; however we loved every bit of the sheer glittering lace detailing and the elegance of her lovely gown.
So which of these Blue Carpet beauties outshone every other woman at the Billboard Music Awards 2013? We believe that everybody showcased an equal amount of charm, elegance and beauty in their ensembles. What do you have to say about it?
It’s no secret that Lady Gaga has some completely outrageous outfits, and although you may not be a fan (count me in on that one!), you can’t deny that her confidence within her unique fashion sense is admirable. It takes a lot of bravery to be you and display your originality throughout your style, and in the limelight of fame, what she does is certainly recognizable. Her style speaks volumes to people who are different, and it provides the message that no matter how weird you are, be yourself and do so proudly. Now, I would personally never be caught dead in a dress made of raw meat, but to each their own, right? This lady sure knows how to make a statement on the red carpet. After all, everyone’s always talking about her latest outrageous headpiece, or gown…. Or lack of.
A Work of Wire
For some reason, I feel like Lady Gaga resembles a massive, curly wire. She looks like one, doesn’t she? This outfit really wouldn’t be so outrageous, but of course, Lady Gaga is known for her “Go Big Or Go Home” style and she certainly took the wire appeal to the extreme. The bold neck is decent and could be pretty chic if the rest of the dress wasn’t filled with who-knows-what. After all, the tubes on her outfit had to be created somehow, right? On the bright side, she wouldn’t have to use a purse with this outfit. Maybe that’s what the tubes are really stuffed with… Her necessities.
An Age Old Queen
Although this look is certainly something that people wouldn’t often indulge in, it’s a historic beauty! The only difference is that Lady Gaga probably wears this outfit to the grocery store. Honestly. It totally has that old era Queen appearance and who doesn’t want to dress like royalty? I think you can find this identical look in a Halloween store… If you dare to indulge. Her hoof shoes though… Not too sure what to say about the reptile skin, or the chunk and bulk of them. I don’t think the Queen typically wears reptile with her majestic gowns.
She’s a Q-Tip
When all else fails and your ears are plugged and you can’t find a Q-Tip, call up Lady Gaga’s stylist because she can provide one hell of an ear cleaner. The style is certainly clean and chic, and rather adorable, but the massive hair wig and veil totally make her look like one giant ear cleaner tool that’s looking for a bundle of wax. Gross. Or you could just leave your ears plugged, especially if there’s a certain song on. Hint, hint. Nudge, nudge.
This look will forever go down in history for being the most disgusting outfit to ever step on the red carpet. Actually, this is the worst dress that has ever stepped anywhere. Can you imagine the heart attacks Peta people must have had? Lady Gaga is one walking cow. Why would you ever do this? It’s taking the whole animal fashion to a completely different level. That’s not to mention how dirty this is. Hello, Salmonella! Oh, let’s not forget about the tender steak she’s also rocking as a hair accessory. One classy broad, I tell ya.
Kermit The Frog Here
I’m sure there’s some children that would have loved a Kermit toy, and Lady Gaga probably ruined their dreams, all for the sake of fashion. As children headed on their way to Walmart to pick up this green little stuffed animal, they were probably greeted with a giant, “Sold Out” sign. Why? Lady Gaga decided that she needed to dress up as several of them. Who gets it? I certainly don’t know. This just isn’t an outfit. Let me pull my old stuffed animals out from the attic and sew them onto my sweater. Why, Lady Gaga. Why?
This is probably one of Lady Gaga’s outfits that can be considered wearable. It offers a stunning style and contrast, and almost has a Michael Jackson inspiration with the collar and precise lines. The only difference is that instead of rocking a glittering glove, Lady Gaga put the glam in her sunglasses. This look is one that I would actually consider wearing. Did I just say that?
Oh, Lady Gaga. You do have some stylish fashion sense, after all! It’s nice to see that Lady Gaga can also show that individuality can be practical for everyday people. This is one of those looks that gives off that exact message. The high waist skirt is a classic, and the bralette and headpiece give off a chic brothel appeal. It’s a sexy look. You can’t deny it.
She’s a Space Shuttle
The actual dress itself is rather exquisite. The sparkle is stunning for red carpet gowns, and if it didn’t have the addition of spaceorb things, you’d probably see a lot more celebrities working this look. It offers a great fit and really highlights the curves of this confident woman. It’s nice to see her indulge in her feminine side from time to time.
Nope. She’s not a plastic girl like a Barbie. She’s more like a plastic bag… Floating in the wind. Oh, nevermind. That’s Katy Perry. Jokes aside though, you can almost see her full boob. Those little x’s of tape covering her bosoms really don’t leave much to the imagination. She looks like a naughty nurse… That really enjoys lobster? The whole entire outfit looks like it’s made out of some tacky, plastic dog cone.
Peplum Too Far
When the peplum trend came back into the fashion scene, Lady Gaga had to find a way to take it above and beyond as per usual. She really put the “pep” in peplum with this look. It’s actually really chic and the girly bow in her hair offers a bit of a sweeter side to this badass leather look.
Beetle Juice, Beetle Juice, Beetle Juice
If we saw it three times, will she disappear instead of reappear because this look is something straight out of a freaky graveyard city. The truly unique thing is that all the individual pieces are rather chic in itself. The lace is stunning. You can never go wrong with some sexy black lace, and the wide shoulders and mask indulge in a bit of fashion from the past. As for that head piece though, I’m not quite sure what to say about that.
Alice and Wonderland
It may be the fact that’s carrying a teacup, or her completely odd lipstick, but Lady Gaga looks like she’s heading to audition for a new Alice and Wonderland movie. The dress alone is totally exquisite and even the floppy hat accentuates some phenomenal trends, but her choice of style for her face just ruins it in regards to practicality. This look does show how you can take modern styles and twist them to your personality.
Such a Doll
What a great look! Lady Gaga’s stylist must have called in sick because she actually looks like a sweet, Hollywood idol. She’s adorable and this outfit is something that I want in my closet. The shape of the one-shoulder dress is on point, and the added origami pieces add a couture appeal that every lady loves. She looks so chic and again, proves how little accents added to typical style can create individuality.
This isn’t a kitty cat I’d want to pet, that’s for sure. I’d be scared that it’s filled with venom or something. Hey! Maybe that’s the look she was going for. Who knows? Aside from the funky ear headpiece, the sweater tunic is adorable, and the monotone clutch is so haute to trot right now with the trends. At least she looks like a cozy kitty cat, right?
A Hairy Peacock
Not sure where to even begin. The lace detailing is always stunning but when you’re sharing it with the world through your red panties, not sure that’s what was intended for this material. Lady Gaga takes her lingerie out the front door, I guess. She has a rocking body and it’s so hot that she’s comfortable in it. After all, that’s what being a real fashionista is all about. It’s not even the nakedness or the red lace that throws me off. It’s that peacock sun hairy thing. Whatever it is. I don’t like it.
I can almost see your hoohoo, Lady Gaga. Who cares, right? We’ve probably seen it a thousand times throughout your other outfit choices. This badass biker appearance is not so bad. I just think she forgot to put pants on. Who knows?
When the floral trend went haute, I don’t think this is what was intended. Lady Gaga is a whole entire garden! There is so much going on, and she’s blossomed into something horrendous. This look butchers the floral trend. The velvet dress makes me feel like I’m back in the 90’s and the oriental leggings have me feeling like I’m in a different country. What is going on here?
Cut Your Head Off
That’s not even meant in a weird way. Literally, this dress would be the biggest hit on the red carpet if you cut the head off. It puts a whole new look at the “hoody” appearance. The feather detailing of the gown combined with the gold detailing is so glam. It’s just that damn headpiece.
Whew! Everyone who appreciates all eras of fashion must love this look, especially the 70’s babies of this world. This outfit is on point, and Lady Gaga looks uniquely fabulous! She still finds a way to make it her own, but totally looks fabulous.
Lack of Everything
She’s naked. Lady Gaga is actually naked. She is wearing a bra and panties with a belt. Does that mean that we can all wear our bikinis or undergarments everywhere we go, as long as we pair it with some fashion accessories?
See… Jerks like me are the exact reason why people don’t indulge in more unique styles like Lady Gaga does. Don’t listen to me. I’m a generic ordinaire, and although we all tease and joke about Lady Gaga’s outfits, she is sending an important message throughout each article she rocks. Wear your individuality however you want. My only advice is to maybe opt for more practical outfits that can be worn day-to-day, simply for comfort reasons. Let us know your thoughts below

That’s how we reacted when our eyes first met Anne Hathaway’s look for the MET Gala 2013. 10. Emma Watson
Emma Watson proved to us that there is more to her besides her elegant youthfulness in this Prabal Gurung cutout gown. The asymmetrical detailing, the inconsistent hemline and the fishtail trail accented Emma’s perfect figure and defined her sultriness.
11. Heidi Klum
At the outset, we wondered whether Heidi Klum’s gown was a bit too bridal for the Red Carpet. But then we realized that with a stunning body and pretty face like Heidi’s nothing is off limits and her dazzling white satin gown by Marchesa only added to Heidi’s elegant appeal.
12. Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj has given us quite a number of embarrassing moments on the Red Carpet. But her midnight blue Tommy Hilfiger gown at the MET Gala 2013 is one of her best Red Carpet appearances we’ve witnessed and relished so far.

1. Selena Gomez

8. Maia Mitchelle
Maia Mitchelle, another angelic beauty on the Red Carpet wore a Zayan dress with an asymmetrical sheer hemline and accented her look with Greymer pumps.
9. Sierra McCormick
Sierra McCormick looked simply pretty in a lacy number by Yoana Baraschi. Her golden clutch was a perfect match with the coral colored dress.
10. Olivia Holt
Stripes are in this season and Olivia decided to experiment with this fabulous trend on the Red Carpet. We give Olivia full marks for taking on stripes on the Red Carpet and the classiness with which she pulled this Katie Ermilio dress. Her coral Caesar Paciotti pumps and Kotur clutch were the perfect matches with her pretty dress.
11. Alli Simpson
Alli Simpson turned up on the Red Carpet in an edgy and never-seen-before avatar. Her map-resembling pants were a pretty creative choice for the Red Carpet.
12. Hayley Kiyoko
Disney actress Hayley Kiyoko seemed inappropriately dressed for the Red Carpet in a buttoned down shirt, denim capris and pumps. The lavender pumps we’d keep, but the rest of it, had to go.
13. Jadagrace Berry
The Red Carpet doesn’t seem like the perfect place on which to flaunt Goth obsessions. Would someone tell that to Jadagrace Berry?
2 out of 13 stars gone wrong is not bad at all. That calls for a shout out of appreciation to all our young Disney stars and the future stunners on the Oscars’ Red Carpet

Today we have a look through the celebs during the MTV movie awards red carpet in 2013. Award shows celebrate talent, they celebrate victory and they also celebrate the stars – new and old; but one of the most important things that award ceremonies celebrate is fashion.
For every award ceremony, we stare with bated breath and transfixed eyes at our TV screens as we watch our favorite stars step out from their shiny limousines and descend on to the welcoming Red Carpet.
The MTV Movie Awards was certainly no Oscars, but that didn’t stop Hollywood celebs from showing up in their best ensembles. However, the MTV Movie Awards 2013 had its good and bad fashion moments. Some stars made us proud while some made us want to dig a hole and hide ourselves in it with utter shame. So would you like the take a look at the Best Dressed and the Rest?
Let’s take one star at a time and at the end, you get to decide who rocked and who didn’t at the MTV Movie Awards 2013.
Presenting to you with much pride the Best Dressed Stars on the Red Carpet at the MTV Movie Awards 2013……..
1. Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez gleamed in gold in a Julien MacDonald mini dress. She styled herself with an elegant braid and golden earrings. And with her shimmery golden shoes, she left a trail of sparkle behind.
2. Emma Watson
Emma Watson’s dressing sense always does us proud. This fashionista stepped on the Red Carpet in a Maxime Simoens dress. This unique patterned white and faded blue dress mesmerized us all. And the black heels she paired this dress with are simply amazing!
3. Jordana Brewster
Quite an unlikely contender and a newbie when it comes to the best dressed list, actress Jordana Brewster stunned us all with her angelic appearance in a white Camilla and Marc dress and white pointed toe pumps.
4. Holland Roden
They say you can never go wrong in a Donna Karen outfit and Holland Roden stands as a proud testimony to that fact. Holland’s black dress with a sheer silhouette has got all the fashionistas vying to recreate the exact look. If we were on a judging panel, we’d label this dress as THE ULTIMATE dress of the Red Carpet for 2013.
5. Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian knows how to dress up, even when she is carrying a baby around in her womb. The reality star looked resplendent in a black long sleeve Saint Laurent Paris mini dress. She accentuated her baby bump with a beautiful piece of gold jewelry. And adding a unique touch to her look was Kim’s pregnancy glow.
6. Crystal Reed
A Red Dress is always welcome on the Red Carpet and Crystal Reed added oodles of appeal to her look with a red lacy dress. This intricately crafted dress by Nha Khanh will be difficult to forget for a very long time.
7. Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana always keeps it chic wherever she dresses up for the Red Carpet. Zoe nailed it this time with a never seen before look on the Red Carpet. The star kept it simple with a velvet black long sleeve blouse and paired it with a beautiful high slit floral skirt by Givenchy. We applaud Zoe for the thought put into this look.
Moving on to the Worst Dressed Celebrities for the evening… Get ready to hang your heads in shame.
Keisha can only make us wonder, “What was she thinking?” Her ensemble made it seem like MTV Music Awards 1960 and she would still make it to the worst dressed list with her floral bellbottoms, printed tank top, fringed vest and black hat. And why black lipstick for a formal event? We could only wonder why!
2. Hana Mae Lee
While Hana Mae Lee’s black Marco Marco dress wasn’t all that bad (even though the vague spider web-like cuts seem odd), the cigarette butt for a hat wasn’t a wise idea at all.
3. Kerry Washington
We wonder why Kerry Washington made a wrong choice for the MTV Music Awards. She is always stylishly dressed for every award ceremony but this black Michael Kors mullet dress with the orange trail skirt brought her to the other side of the list this time.
And although the skies were dull and it was an overcast evening in LA, most of our stars really did shine on the Red Carpet and we were truly delighted to watch. Were you?
The glorious night of the 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards witnessed a tough and fashionable battle of the most beautiful singers in the world. The Red Carpet at the awards ceremony on the evening of 7th April, 2013 was star studded beyond words.
While the night was quite a splendid musical fiesta, the glamor quotient at the event was unbelievably remarkable.
Let’s check out this heavy dosage of fashion that the Red Carpet witnessed at the Country Music Awards.
1. Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift dazzled on the Red Carpet with a Dolce & Gabbana column dress. Taylor chose a pretty demure path as compared to her other Red Carpet choices with this high neckline, intricately sequined and beaded dress. And she rocked in it.
2. Jana Kramer
Jana Kramer gave Taylor some serious competition on the Red Carpet with a golden Badgley Mischka dress that ran on the similar lines with its neckline and its dazzling color.
3. Kacey Musgraves
Kacey Musgraves looked as pretty as a princess in this angelic white Alice + Olivia dress. We commend her for her choice of nude platform pumps with this cocktail dress.
4. Carrie Underwood
Renowned country music singer and former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood decided to keep the look and feel of summer alive with her ensemble. And the singer made a fabulous choice with the strapless Naeem Khan frock she wore to the occasion. The floral orange and red dress was finished off perfectly with a messy up do, Jimmy Choo heels, a black clutch and minimal jewelry.
5. Faith Hill
Faith Hill maintained her usual Red Carpet chic and elegance with her lacy black Chado Ralph Rucci dress. But this year, it was Faith’s black and maroon peep toe sandals that’s been the talk of fashion’s town.
6. Shania Twain
Shania Twain seems to get younger with each passing year. The terrific country music singer looked smoking hot on the Red Carpet at the Country Music Awards this year in a black strapless mini dress with thigh high boots, a black box clutch and her wild and wavy locks.
And look who stopped for a moment of photographic perfection on the Red Carpet. The edgy, the pretty and the elegant women do make us go crazy, thanks to their fashion sense.
7. Sheryl Crow
Jumpsuits are making a slow but sure foyer on the Red Carpet this awards season. And it’s nice to see variety when most of the stars only pull over dresses. Sheryl Crow looked stunning in this navy blue Zac Posen jumpsuit and the eye catching gold necklace she accessorized it with.
8. Beth Behrs
And here’s another stunning summery beauty on the Red Carpet. Beth Behrs’ bright pink strapless lace gown from the Monique Lhullier resort collection charms you, doesn’t it?
Jewel made a shiny statement on the Red Carpet with this Georges Chakra coral strapless gown.
And the Country Music Awards ceremony was one truly remarkable night that fulfilled everybody’s musical expectations as well as the fashion quotient that was very prominent in the air that evening.
