We get plenty of inspiration on a daily bases when it comes to fresh takes on fashion, modern combinations, runway trends or innovative ideas. Sometimes that inspiration comes from the magazines we read, from the streets we walk everyday, from the people surrounding us, from our favorite fashion shows, from our favorite sites even, but there are times when we learn the best from the stars. The trendsetter celebrities are always one step ahead of trends, wearing the next best things, sporting the most exciting looks straight from the runways. From the multitude of trends that rock the red carpet this fall, we spotted one that we think you are going to love just as much as we do. The digital prints are living an exciting moment since the Fall 2012 runways were filled with such vibrant and exquisite patterns. One by one, the famous ladies are being gained over by the chic prints and we can’t get enough of their fashion-forward outfits. Let’s have a look at the brightest examples and learn how to successfully carry the digital print this fall.

When usually spotting a very colorful and psychedelic print on the red carpet, there’s a big chance the designer beneath it might be Peter Pilotto. Holliday Grainger attended the London premiere of her movie entitled “Great Expectations” sporting a beautiful Peter Pilotto Resort 2013 dress, featuring a blue printed sleeveless top and a whimsical printed pencil skirt. She styled the look with black pumps, a Charlotte Olympia “Pandora” clutch and a golden cuff. Dark lips and a twisted hair knot provided the finishing touches.

Jane Krakowski sported the second big designer that has a crush on intricate digital prints, while celebrating the final season of the hit series “30 Rock’”. The blonde actress donned a Mary Katrantzou Fall 2012 dress that she paired with nude YSL platform sandals. She styled the bold digitized dress with a silver watch and a red beaded necklace.

Singer Kylie Minogue seems to have developed quite an obsession over the romantic Dolce & Gabbana cherub print floral dresses. For a business meeting out in London, the singer opted to wear another look from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 collection. She styled the feminine frock with a pair of patent leather lace-up booties, soft curls and minimal jewelry.

For “The Details” Los Angeles premiere held at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, actress Kerry Washington sported another stunning Mary Katrantzou number, this time belonging to the designer’s Spring 2013 collection. Her vibrant halterneck stamp print dress was accessorized with a black studded Christian Louboutin clutch and black Christian Louboutin pumps.

Peter Pilotto’s Fall 2012 collection was successfully represented at the 2012 Courage in Journalism Awards thanks to the lovely Olivia Munn. The actress opted for a blue velvet dress featuring a fascinating digital print and intricate cut-outs. A pair of black Christian Louboutin ankle strap pumps and a sleek bun complemented her charming appearance.

Solange Knowles is not the one to shy away from crazy prints and bold colors, but for the American Ballet Theatre Opening Night she surprised in a very feminine and delicate Dolce & Gabbana floral and cherub print dress. She styled the pretty dress with a pair of Dolce & Gabbana pumps featuring gold embellishments, and precious gold jewelry.

If this alluring digital print trend charmed you enough to give it a try this fall, you may want to keep in mind a few simple rules in order to sport it right: let the print do all the talking, always, so make sure to style your look accordingly. Pick shoes in neutral hues, like black, white or nude; keep your hair sleek, either straight and down, or twisted in a high or low-bun; and keep your make-up natural looking, don’t over do it, allow the beautiful digital prints to shine like they deserve.
