The Rise & Fall of Fashion Style Exhibits at the London Premier of the Dark Knight Rises

If there was just one city in the whole world you should have been to see red carpet stars, it had to none other than the London premier of the new movie The Dark Knight Rises. Last week’s Wednesday night was unlike the routine one for it totally enthralled my fashion senses. There were truly too many stars to be named that attended the much awaited flick. These included the star cast namely, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cottilard, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale and other eminent names such as that of Prince Harry (with a special date), Pixie Lott, Kimberley Garner and more.

 The Catwoman

What she wore at theLondonpremier did make me think of her as someone completely apart from the character she is playing in the movie. With a super toned body as hers, she has the knack to carry off just about any look and dress. Her look from head to toe is truly hard to be described in a short sentence (I won’t deny that!). However, let’s begin with her cropped hair cut which did get her brownie points! The shimmery gold creation from Italian designer (Gucci, of course!) allowed me and many others to appreciate her enviably well sculpted arms for her ‘Catwoman’ look and attire.

There was no doubt regarding the kick ass workout regime she followed for her role; it did pay off!  The moderate width rim of lovely flowers running across the high neckline accentuated her soft features further. Plus, it was quite unexpected that the actress would opt for a daring, loose fit of the halter neck gown at her movie premiere in which her clothes were nowhere close to the L of loose!

The co star of the movie which marks the finale of the Dark Knights trilogy, Marion Cottilard looked charming as always. Her tiny waistline was what I first noticed about her, thanks to the Christian Dior dress she wore. Oh yes, both her outfit and the tangerine coloured heels did raise this Marie Claire cover girl’s fashion quotient to somewhere close to that of Anne Hathaway.

 Excess of Everything Is Bad!

Blonde starKimberleydid opt for a similar looking attire as Pixie Lott but with a totally daring interpretation. Her self designed aquamarine hue silk dress, in my opinion had too much to bare than hide! Thumbs down from me for strangling the sexy look and replacing it with ‘flashy’.

The Disaster Revisited

All disasters come with a lesson which should be well learned by all. Unfortunately, multi-talented Pixie Lott did re live the ghastly mistake of showing up at a classy premier in not so clean underarms. Let’s just keep that issue aside and focus on her aquamarine flowy dress that caught attention for all the right reasons. The demure look cast by the soothing colour and the halter style of the dress could have been certainly more appreciated had the growth not been conspicuous to the hundreds of shutter bugs there. A regular grooming routine can help a ‘Lott’, Pixie!

So that wraps up my analysis report for the eventful night.
