Award shows are always full of stars, smiles and surprises, but the Kids’ Choice Awards show always has an extra “S” to its name. And “SLIME” it is. Yes, the 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards show witnessed tons of stars who smiled all through the night, with loads of surprises in store and the infamous “green slime.”
But besides green, which other colors made an appearance on the Red….ooops, the orange and purple Carpet?
The Orange and Purple Carpet at the Kids’ Choice Awards 2013 witnessed a host of vibrant and crazy colors, dazzling prints, cute ensembles and entertaining fashion choices. So let’s take a look at these 5 celebrities lined up for you and you get to tell us who you think was the biggest fashion hit at the Kids’ Choice Awards 2013.
1. Kristen Stewart
Kristen bagged the award for Favorite Movie Actress for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. Kristen wore a blue checkered blouse and a matching pair of shorts by Osman and a pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps.
Kristen later swapped her lovely pumps for a pair of black sneakers. Guess its comfort over style for Stewart. But that’s what we love about her. Fashion is about being comfortable too, isn’t it?
2. Jessica Alba
Jessica’s ensemble at the Kids’ Choice Awards perfectly fits the word “cute.” This beautiful actress went all out to doll up for the kids in a Mary Katrantzou printed dress. She accessorized with a Stella McCartney slim silver clutch and bow pumps by Christian Louboutin.
3. Selena Gomez
Selena glowed like a princess in a light blue blouse and white shorts ensemble by Oscar De La Renta. She certainly stunned all her fans with her magnificent choice of attire for the evening and probably a certain Bieber too. Selena won Favorite TV Actress for Wizards of Waverly Place.
Looks like Fergie was either trying to give Rainbow Brite some serious competition or probably thought she better come prepared for the slime with traces of green already present on her bold and striking yet fashionable Mary Katrantzou under the sea dress.
And look who we found catching up at the show later that evening.
Selena Gomez and Katy Perry seemed to be quite thrilled with Fergie’s soon to be born bundle of joy.
And doesn’t this look like three childhood friends catching up at a high school reunion? Makes you do awwwww, doesn’t it?
Well back to fashion; let’s see what more there was on the Orange and Purple Carpet.
5. Katy Perry
Katy Perry who walked away with the Favorite Female singer award wore a Herve Leger two piece yellow and blue ensemble to the awards show. Comments, anybody?
And all’s well that ends well, but with a bit of slime of course!
Hosts Sandra Bullock and Neil Patrick Harris certainly did receive a fair share of green slime towards the end of the show. Now that was inevitable, wasn’t that?
